District of Columbia Praxis Test Requirements
ALL students are required to take the Praxis I exams before admission into a program. Students in the alternative route programs teaching in DC Public Schools must also take the Praxis II Content exams in order to apply for provisional licensure. For information about enrolling in the test, please go to the ETS website.
Before program completion all students must take the appropriate Praxis II Content and Pedagogy exams for their program.
