Admission Requirements
- Admission to the major requires a grade point average (GPA) of 2.70 after freshman year and departmental approval
- Transfer students should have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.70
- Students with a GPA between 2.50 and 2.70 may be admitted to the major after completing 15 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.00
How to Apply
- Print out and complete the Declaration of Major form
- Bring the form to the School of Education, Teaching, & Health office in Gray 119 for signed approval
- Return the signed form to the CAS Academic Advising Office in Batelle-Tompkins 100 or fax the form to the Advising Office at (202) 885-1085
