Climate change and energy resource issues are large scale and transnational. The science underlying resource extraction and climate modeling is complex and stochastic, yet understandable if carefully approached using the scientific method. In this course students apply scientific perspectives to understand the complex nature of many emerging environmental problems, including global climate change, resource availability and emerging energy technologies. Guest speakers include domestic and international environmental science and climate change policy experts. Mets with ENVS-396-001.
