Academic Centers, Institutes, and Special Programs
To sustain academic excellence in a changing world requires that we continually explore new ways to enrich the educational experiences of our students. AU operates more than 25 specialized academic centers across all schools and colleges, in addition to a variety of special programs. These centers and programs create opportunities for our students and faculty to explore emerging issues of global importance. With their timely and relevant focus, these centers and programs attract top faculty with special expertise and provide unparalleled opportunities for undergraduate and graduate research and other projects. This campaign will create new opportunities for students to become engaged in the most vital issues of our day.
