Welcome to the SIS Community web site, created especially for SIS alumni and friends! Please take some time to explore all of the resources we offer, including news about SIS and international affairs, details about ways to get involved, information about giving, and faculty updates.

This academic year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the founding of SIS. To commemorate the event, we broke ground on our new, “green” SIS Building, which will be located next to the library. To see the plans for the new building, please click here. We are planning some great celebrations throughout the year, and hope you will be able to join us!

We invite you to renew your connections to SIS by joining the SIS Alumni Listserv and subscribing to the many student and alumni publications offered by American University and SIS. She knows how central you are to our institutional continuity and community building.
