The campus community is invited to join athletics director Keith Gill and me at a pregame celebration prior to the nationally televised (ESPN2) Patriot League men’s basketball championship game on Friday, March 13. Festivities begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Sports Center tunnel, with free hot dogs, popcorn, soft pretzels, and cookies. Materials for face painting and sign making will be available.

Doors open to Bender Arena at 3:15 p.m., and the Eagles tip off against Holy Cross at 4:45 p.m. Tickets for the game are required for faculty, staff, alumni, and the community. AU students will be admitted free with a valid student ID; student seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because of media and the crowds awaiting entry into the arena, normal campus business in and around Bender Arena, Butler Pavilion, and the tunnel and around Leonard Hall will be affected. Cars entering campus during this time will be directed to the Nebraska lot and Katzen garage.
