Late January Nomination process begins for University Awards (President’s Award-$1000, Scholarship/Service-$500, and Student Achievement-$250)
February 1 Deadline for May 2010 graduation applications via my.american
February/March Schools and colleges select student speakers
March 9 Scholarship/Service Award nominations due
Mid-March Postcard mailed to August/December 2008 graduates (diploma address) and students cleared for May 2009 graduation (local address), containing instructions for online regalia orders via my.american (credit card payment)
March 19 Nominations due for President’s Award, University Student Awards, and Student Achievement Awards
March 31 & April 1 Graduation Fair, noon – 6 pm, MGC Rooms 2 & 3
Early April 2010 Commencement Program goes to print
April 5 Deadline for regalia orders
Late April Instructions on regalia pickup emailed to all who order regalia
April 30 - May 7 Senior Week Events
May 3 - 7 Regalia distribution; Line-Up information distributed with regalia
May 7 (tentative schedule)

- University Honors Program Ceremony, 3:00 p.m.,

3401 Nebraska Avenue, at New Mexico Avenue - Reception for University & Student Achievement Award Winners, 5:30 p.m., AU Museum (invitation only)
- Baccalaureate Service, 7:00 p.m., Kay Chapel (open to all)
- Toast to Graduates, 8:00 p.m., Katzen Arts Center (free to graduates)
- SOC Ceremony, 9:00 am;
- KSB Ceremony, 1:00 pm;
- SIS Ceremony, 4:30 pm
- SPA Ceremony, 9:00 am;
- CAS Ceremony, 1:00 pm;
- Return rental regalia to Campus Store by 4:00 pm
